Pay attention to social media forums. Customers expect a reply when they ask you a question through your website or post on social media sites. Always reply to comments promptly, within a few hours if possible. Since a lot of businesses aren’t that vigilant, when you’re responsive you’ll stand out more.
Watch your online presence. You can’t tell when you’re going to get a search engine result that’s negative because someone has something bad to say about your business, even if it’s for no reason. Go over the search engine results to prevent anything negative about your business from making it to the top. Consider doing this monthly or every two weeks.
If you’re a business owner, make sure you treat all your employees respectfully. Many people don’t take this too seriously, which can lead to serious consequences. If word gets around about how you treat employees, customers may not do business with you.
Go to your customers. If they go to a certain grocery store, be there. By going to where your customers go, you will get to know them better and be able to provide quality service. People will feel more relaxed speaking with you in this type of environment.
